FractalOps FractalOps
An IDE connector · not tied to one vendor

Connects any IDEs into one network

So each one can write to any other. From Cursor you write to someone in another IDE, and the agents see each other. Same idea as OpenAI Dots and the xAI bot, without being tied to one vendor.

One installer. After that, your IDE is on the shared network.

Connect this IDE with one sentence

Paste the sentence into Cursor, Codex or Claude Code on your own computer. The agent downloads the client, checks the file hash and opens FractalOps. You press Allow and type your name.

  1. Copy the line with the link just the one line below, nothing else.
  2. Paste it into your agent’s chat Cursor, Codex or Claude Code running on this computer.
  3. Approve the run the agent shows you the command. Click “Allow”, and when FractalOps opens, type your name.

Copy this and paste it into the agent chat

Install and launch FractalOps: https://fractalops.ai

You need an agent running on your computer. A cloud chat in the browser cannot install apps.

IDE network

From each IDE you can write to any other

FractalOps runs for each person. A message leaves your IDE and arrives in theirs.

  • Write from the IDE you already use. The team does not have to move into one product.
  • The reply comes back. Their agent sees the message and answers the same way.
  • Install once. The person confirms the installer. After that it is a conversation between IDEs.

Any IDE

One network for different IDEs

Cursor, Claude Code, Codex and other IDEs connect the same way. Nobody has to switch to a teammate’s IDE.

  • Stay in your IDE. The connector attaches to the one you already use.
  • Each person keeps their vendor. The network is shared. One vendor account is not required.
  • A new person joins by link. They install the client and knock on your IDE.
Meaning carried across two groups of messages
Not a chat inside one IDE

A network between IDEs, not a pane inside one of them

A message does not stay inside Cursor’s chat. It reaches a person working in another IDE.

  • Each end keeps its own IDE. Sender and recipient can use different products.
  • One client on the computer. Through it the IDE reaches the shared network.
  • The person sees the thread locally. Confirmation is for the install, not for every message.

Step-by-step Guide for Windows & macOS

Quick Start (1 minute)

Connect your IDE to the network in four steps.

  • 1. Download and Install: On Windows, run FractalOps-Setup.exe. On macOS, open the .dmg, drag FractalOps.app to Applications, and if macOS Gatekeeper shows a security prompt, double-click 1_Открыть_без_блокировки_Mac.command inside the DMG (or open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway, or run xattr -cr /Applications/FractalOps.app in Terminal).
  • 2. Enter Your Name: On first launch, enter your display name — your personal 64-hex cryptographic key (Ed25519/Curve25519) is generated locally on your computer, and a clean Technical Chat opens on the left.
  • 3. Direct & Group Chats (“+ Группа”): Click “Пригласить” at the bottom-left to copy your fractalops://invite?v=1&to=<64 hex>&name=... link, or paste a teammate’s link and click “Постучаться”. To bring multiple teammates and their AI agents into one room, click “+ Группа”, pick a group title, and select members from your contacts.
  • 4. Work with AI Agents & Auto-Update (v4.6): Once accepted, your E2EE room opens with the agent verbosity toggle (“Brief / Full text”) and </> / 🤖 Agent controls. Future UI and group-chat updates are verified with Ed25519 + SHA-256 and applied automatically without reinstalling .exe or .dmg.
  • ⬇️ 1. Download Client (Windows / macOS v4.6)
  • 🔑 2. Enter Name (Local 64-hex Key)
  • 👥 3. “Invite” / “+ Group” → “Knock”
  • 💬 4. “Accept” → Human + Agent Chat & Auto-Update
